The Center for Technology and Civic Life invited to first-ever White House Tech Meetup

The Center is honored to be invited to the first-ever White House Tech Meetup on Friday, April 17. The purpose of the Tech Meetup is to:

  • Help each other thrive by sharing best practices and scale outreach and inclusion efforts.
  • Find ways to help more of our neighbors join in (especially those who have been less well-represented in tech).
  • Engage young people.

CTCL is joining other tech enthusiasts so we might learn from each other and share our approach to creating meaningful civic technology. The Center’s Executive Director, Tiana Epps-Johnson, will be giving a presentation during the Meetup’s Spotlight Sessions on the work we’re doing across the country to modernize engagement between local government and the people they serve.

Please join us in the conversation! Follow along on Friday 9 a.m. ET by watching the White House Tech Meetup at WhiteHouse.gov/Live and participate via #WHMeetup on social media.
