CTCL Program Awards Over 2,500 COVID-19 Response Grants

The COVID-19 pandemic brings unprecedented challenges that most election budgets aren’t equipped to handle. As a result, election offices need funds to cover expenses like personal protective equipment, additional election worker recruitment and training, and absentee voting equipment and supplies.

Today we want to celebrate that so far over 2,500 election offices across the country have been awarded additional resources that they need to administer a voting process that is more safe and secure for their communities.

The pin-map below shows the volume of awardees as well as the geographic diversity.

Can’t make out all those pins? Check out the list of current CTCL COVID-19 Response grant awardees.

At the Center for Tech and Civic Life, we continue to be in awe of the incredible public service of election officials across the country and feel grateful we’ve had the opportunity to provide this support.
