Celebrating Election Hero Day

2020 is a monumental year for U.S. elections. Election departments are installing thousands of new drop boxes. Clerks are rearranging office furniture to create space for social distancing. Election officials are ordering all sorts of critical election supplies like single-use folders, hand sanitizer, and sneeze guards. America’s election officials are heroically administering a presidential election during a pandemic, all with record-setting voter turnout. And poll workers are stepping up at record levels, too.

When we look back at this year, we’ll see that a national community of election officials and poll workers showed up to make democracy happen for all of us.

The Center for Tech and Civic Life, our partners, and voters across the country are cheering you on during this final stretch of the 2020 election season. Thank you for your public service! You’ve got this, and we’re grateful. #ThankYouElectionHeroes
